Job Description

Our client, one of the UK’s fastest growing Banks and a leading provider of Financial Services to businesses requires an enthusiastic and charismatic Relationship Manager to join their team in the Midlands.

You will be responsible for the day to day management of a portfolio of invoice finance clients whilst undertaking regular client facility reviews. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, managing the day to day portfolio and maintaining strong client service levels whilst effectively managing risk, ensuring profitability and maximising revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be the primary point of contact for clients within your portfolio, and will plan regular meetings with your clients.
• You will be responsible for proactively managing risk within your portfolio, by using Risk Factor daily to help identify risks and trends, and taking appropriate action.
• In order to ensure all risk policies are adhered to, you will also carry out regular reviews in line with set expectations and work with your credit partners both in invoice finance and wider bank credit and risk teams, in order to complete any actions required as a result of this.
• Grow your portfolio through income generation whilst charging customers fairly in line with our standard disbursement tariff.

Key Skills:

• You will have a good technical knowledge of the Invoice Finance industry, and have experience of credit controlling and managing customer relationships.
• You will have strong negotiation skills and be able to demonstrate examples of this.
• You will have experience of building long term relationships, maintained through strong interactions with your customers, as well as a good understanding of their needs and how to meet them.
• You will be extremely organised with the ability to manage your own diary effectively in order to meet the needs of your customers.
