A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Operations and Risk Director to join a forward thinking provider of bespoke commercial finance solutions during an exciting period of growth.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure credit policy decisions are implemented and the risk of the Invoice Financer book is properly managed alongside ensuring effective management of all operational procedures including risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the Executive team and Business Development Team to ensure that all new Invoice Finance facilities conform with the company responsible lending and credit policy.
• Document all credit policy exceptions and mitigants and monitoring the performance of such.
• Support the credit underwriting and due diligence process from receipt of signed proposal form through to first drawdown.
• Underwriting existing facility reviews at both client and customer level in support of the relationship management team.
• Monthly portfolio reviews of existing client base to discuss any potential recovery strategy and agree on action points, sharing best practice and highlighting heightened risk areas to the executive team.
• Regular reviews of client statistics with the executive team to monitor client performance, raising areas of concern.
• Managing clients in collect out and reporting weekly to the executive team, ensuring bad debts are minimised and the appropriate reporting is completed with regards to Bad Debt Protection.

Key Requirements:

• Experience – Proven experience of working in an Invoice finance environment.
• Skills –Highly numerate and literate. Pragmatic. Superb attention to detail. Great planner and organiser. People management skills are critical. Customer service skills and ability to work alone whilst being a team player. IT- Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
• Qualifications – Insolvency, accountancy, or banking background.
